Our prickly pear is sourced from USDA-certified organic growers in southwestern Morocco — a region with the ideal climate, soil, and traditional knowledge for producing the world's finest prickly pear seed oil.
Local cooperatives, often Berber women's collectives, harvest the cactus fruit and carefully separate each tiny seed by hand from the fruit pulp — a process that takes approximately 36 hours per litre of finished oil. The seeds are then cold-pressed at low temperatures to preserve the oil's full vitamin E and fatty acid profile.
